Kristina Brines is a member of the Employment + Labor law team, providing practical and effective advice to businesses and non-profit organizations. She counsels clients on general employment matters and internal disputes, including personnel decisions and documents, compliance with State and Federal law, workforce management, and workplace investigations. Kristina works with clients to develop and implement best practices to avoid disputes and litigation, represents clients before administrative bodies and throughout the course of litigation, and performs trainings and educational sessions for clients to assist them in staying current and informed.

Kristina represents non-profit organizations in a variety of matters, including governance and litigation, particularly with respect to public accommodations and discrimination law, and general landlord-tenant issues.

Kristina holds certificates as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and a Society for Human Resources Management Certified Professional (SHRM-CP). She is a native Vermonter and is an active volunteer in the Vermont community.
